Online Preliminary Examination will have 3 subjects papers having 150 questions on English Language and Reasoning Ability as common and General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry for Law Officers and Rajbhasha Officers while IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer will appear for Quantitative Aptitude paper. 

Each paper will be of 50 questions and will be of 40 minutes duration with a total of 125 marks of two-hour duration only.

Selection Process


The High Court, Allahabad will hold offline Written Examination (on O.M.R. Sheet) post wise on different dates/shifts in the various Districts of Uttar Pradesh, followed by Hindi & English Computer Type Test, Hindi/English Stenography Test and Technical Driving Test wherever applicable.

The information regarding the Date, Time and Venue of the Examinations/Tests shall be intimated to the candidates through e-admit cards later on.

Application Fee


(i) For posts mentioned at Serial No. 01, the candidates of General (UR), O.B.C. and E.W.S. Category shall have to pay ₹1000/- (+ bank charges extra) and the Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category of Uttar Pradesh only shall have to pay ₹800/- (+ bank charges extra).

(ii) For posts mentioned at Serial No. 02, the candidates of General (UR), O.B.C. and E.W.S. Category shall have to pay ₹850/- (+ bank charges extra) and the Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category of Uttar Pradesh only shall have to pay ₹650/- (+ bank charges extra).

(iii) For posts mentioned at Serial No. 03 and 04, the candidates of General (UR), O.B.C. and E.W.S. Category shall have to pay ₹800/- (+ bank charges extra) and the Candidates belonging to SC/ST Category of Uttar Pradesh only shall have to pay ₹600/- (+ bank charges extra).

About State Bank of India (SBI) CBO Recruitment 2022


State Bank of India (SBI) is recruiting Circle Based Officers (CBO) for the year 2022 as this is a yearly recruitment exercise by SBI. This is an opportunity for job seekers who want to make a career in Banking in general and in SBI in particular.

The candidate will have to apply for CBO vacancies in 2021 in one State only. The selected candidates will be posted in the Circle/State against whose vacancy they are selected only.

The candidates applying for vacancies in a particular State should be proficient (reading, writing and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State (mentioned against each State). The test of knowledge of the specified opted local language of the applied state will be conducted as a part of the selection process

The interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in the interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.


SBI Circle Based Officers Recruitment 2022 Vacancies


  • Circle Based Officers (CBO): 1422 vacancies in various circles in India, Age: 30 years as of 30/09/2022, Qualification:  Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government., Experience:  Minimum 2 years experience (as on 01.08.2020) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank., Pay Scale: JMGS-I ₹36000-63840/-

₹750/-  (₹125/- for SC/ST/PWD) to be paid online.

Selection Process


The selection will be based on Online Written Test (to be held on 4th December 2022 tentatively), Screening and Interview.  The online written test will consist of an Objective Test of 2 hours for 120 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after the conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

The duration of the objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections (English Language, Banking Knowledge,  General Awareness/ Economy and Computer Aptitude) for a total of 120 marks. The duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of the English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for a total of 50 marks.
